Applications for soy sauce products
Soy sauce offers developers a wide range of interesting product opportunities. The 'meaty' notes of soy sauce can be used to enhance flavors in broths, including hearty dishes like French onion soup.
There are traditional uses such as marinades for stir fries, barbeque sauces and gravies.
Two newer products offer additional ideas. One is soy sauce with a lighter color which works well in chicken entrees. Another is a sodium reduced version for salt reduced products.
Naturally brewed soy sauce
Soy sauce has come a long way from its traditional roots. Although still used in oriental dishes, applications now include use as a general condiment, flavor enhancer and coating with other seasonings.
