Who are we?

Ecom is a company specializing in the distribution of value added ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers in North America. Founded in 1986, we are based in Toronto, where we have our own warehouse, laboratory and production facility. In 1991 we acquired the oleoresins operations of Quest International and operate that business. With our oleoresin line we export to 20 countries.

Our strategy is to satisfy the supply requirements of our clients as fully and competitively as possible. That means we operate stocking programs and usually offer on a delivered basis. In addition to our own warehouse, we use federally inspected warehouses for goods which must be frozen or stored chilled.

Before entering our warehouses we review certificates of analysis for each item. We track our inventory and all shipments by lot numbers. In terms of client service, we and many of our principals offer product development assistance for customers' projects.
